Risky

“It’s risky.”

Yes, we could fail.

We could fall,

flat on our faces

or caught in the act

of trying to catch greatness.

But it is worth it.

The butterflies,

the excitement of doing,

the tinge of fear

adding spice

to our life.

The energy pent up

finally unleashed,

the quivering bow

once the shaft

is unleashed.

Casting the die

even though the odds

are against us,

I’d wager

and risk

all, for

you.
