The sun fights its way over the mountain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the morning mists cloaking its radiance,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
dispersing the light as the cool<\/p>\n\n\n\n
air bites at the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Slowly, ever so slowly, the disk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
peaks over the peak,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
illuminating the fog with a glow<\/p>\n\n\n\n
that seems to come from everywhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and nowhere at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chill lessens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Higher climbs the sun, trying to burn away<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the cloying clouds hovering<\/p>\n\n\n\n
around the ridge and ravine,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
unveiling the natural beauty<\/p>\n\n\n\n
hidden in hazy shadows of grey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new dawn births, inexorably<\/p>\n\n\n\n
bringing light and hope<\/p>\n\n\n\n
