Same

I am internally driven.

You seek external validation.

We are not the same.

You chase happiness through hedonism,

I walk the path of discipline.

We are not the same.

When I have nothing, I still have everything.

You have been given everything, yet believe in nothing.

We are not the same.

I was put here to be a maker.

You were born as a taker.

We are not the same.

And yet

We are

The same.

The same soul,

Split in twain.

Two bodies

Two beliefs;

a whole.

Balanced.
