Twin Flame Discourse

“In spiritual teaching, twin flames are two halves of one soul that have united to teach each other profound lessons” and tend to be opposites on the surface while sharing a core that unites them, creating a balanced and evolving whole.  Twin Flames are drawn to each other for reasons neither can comprehend, finding each other through mysterious fate across borders and oftentimes impossible to unravel circumstances.

Masculine and feminine, intellectually disciplined and emotionally variable are drawn to each other like the two poles of the magnet.  Two sides of a coin, but made of the same metal inside and parts of a single greater being in two bodies, two aspects of one whole.  Facets in a fluid gem that has yet to assume its final form that could take a decade or more to finally coalesce together from the two parts.

Yin and yang that balance each other, circle each other and challenge the other half to bring out their better elements is a typical description from external observers of the dance of the Twin Flames.  Continuous evolution together, at times brutal and others easy, as the two flames burn away the dross in the other and challenge and support each other on a journey that is convoluted and ultimately beautiful beyond what others can comprehend.

Twin flames spend years or even decades searching for each other, intensely connect because they are drawn to their pair, and then most undergo their individual metamorphosis to be ready to complete the other.  Sometimes one partner undergoes this transformation quickly while the other may resist the call and take years or even decades to allow themselves to alter and lose their lower evolution attributes before they are ready for coupling with their twin.  This is an incredibly stressful period for the evolved flame as their faith will be continuously tested by the one that is resisting becoming their better self.  Sometimes unfortunately the one never gets through their rough patches and is ready for the love of the other, and this is an epic tragedy.
