Uncountable

Eleventy billion stars in the sky

Sparkling in the night

With pricks of light

Diamond bits hung way up high.

Many million years ago

Something crawled from the slime

Changing, evolving over time

Into the people we know.

Countless seconds since flown by

Since first I saw your smile

Separated by too many a mile

To see you, I have to fly.

For time and space are as naught

When love grips the soul

Pieces split from the whole

Sunder not what Fate hath wraught.
