Scribblings

My words are weak and incomparable.

The Song of Songs shames my scrawling.

Sapho exceeds my stylings easily.

Rumi, Shakespeare, Jeanty

all embarrass my scribblings;

the poor essays of a love-struck fool.

Yet my writing should be extraordinaire,

for my Muse is beautiful beyond compare.
