One Day

Give me a sunrise,

Sky painted with hope

At the dawn of days.

Give me a sunset,

The passing of the light

With fading solar rays.

Give me your noon,

With that radiant smile

Shining and bright.

Give me your dark,

The pitch blackness

Of the midnight.

Give me your all,

Or give me death.

Endless sleep and pall,

Cold, lacking breath.

For without you,

Why even be?
