Our Dance

I have loved you for years,

Through all the good times and rough patches;

I love you more today than I did early on,

Not despite your flaws but because of them,

The raw truths and defects that enhance

And accentuate your beauty.

You make my soul fly like an angel

And torment me like a devil

As our twin flames dance and part

Only to embrace again.

No matter how often you burn me,

It is all worth it my dear, my love.
